Use a piece of foil as a liner when grilling on a possibly contaminated surface. Gluten proteins don’t necessarily burn off in the cooking process.

Frying, cooking, grilling or heating foods does not degrade the protein in wheat, rye or barley (gluten is a protein composite), thus it’s suggested to only consume products that have been cooked in dedicated fryers, or grilled on a clean cook top.
