Getting Involved

Thank You to Our Corporate Sponsors

The University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center is grateful to its annual partners, who appreciate the business benefits of partnership, and perhaps more importantly, the reality that the Center relies on their financial backing to carry out its mission. The Center, a non-profit completely funded by donations, is an international leader in its field. It has a strong focus on research and education and a unique connection with both medical professionals and consumers. The benefits of partnership serve as acknowledgement of the sincere appreciation for the generous and steadfast support.

Fundraising

Help us spread awareness and raise money for a cure. Become a Friend of The University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center.

Those who host or co-host an event or promotion that raises $2,500 or more per calendar year for The Celiac Disease Center become Friends of the Center for that calendar year. We strongly encourage all event organizers to reimburse themselves for any out-of-pocket expenses associated with hosting an event before donating proceeds to The University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center.

Please let us know if you are hosting a fundraiser on our behalf—we would be happy to help promote it as much as possible. As an acknowledgement of our gratitude, Friends of the Center receive a certificate of appreciation and are listed on our website.

Another great way to fundraise on behalf of The Celiac Disease Center is to participate in an existing event and solicit sponsors. You and your friends can walk, run, swim, bike, or do any other activity that interests you to raise funds for celiac disease education, research, and advocacy.

If you are interested in creating an event in your area or another do-it-yourself fundraising initiative, contact us. We’ll be happy to talk about the process with you.

Thank you to all of our Friends of the Center across the country who continue to host local events and promotions to further our global mission.
