At the Celiac Disease Center, we know that teens have unique challenges when it comes to managing celiac disease. We strive to empower teens to manage their disease from a younger age and to provide them with the education, support and experience they need for a successful transition to young adulthood.
Our team of celiac specialists has developed a specialized clinical care and education program called Teens InTransit specifically for teens with celiac disease. In addition to our doctors, nurses and staff, the InTransit team includes a registered dietician and psychologist working side-by-side to help teens transition their celiac care and responsibilities from their parents and family to themselves, while also providing the resources they need to deal with pressures of adolescence.
